The International Coalition for the Commemoration of African Ancestors of the Middle Passage (ICCAAMP) invites you to a Virtual Global Libation, Saturday, June 13, 2020, 11:30 AM-1:30 PM ET.

This libation recognizes the MAAFA or Black Holocaust and the persistent trauma and terror African people in the Diaspora experience today. The Global Libation for African Ancestors is an honoring of our past and a prayer for the future. This ritual recognizes the power in Sankofa, the gifts that remain connected to an historic legacy of resistance, resilience and longevity. We are a people who do not give up. Freedom or death!

ICCAAMP will feature participants from sites throughout the country and the global African presence both live and via recorded messages. For information: and visit:

Wear white and bring your drums and other instruments, libation cups too, and join us. This honoring of African Ancestors is for the entire community, elders, youth and especially, the children.
